Empty mats? Let's fix that.

Why Pilates Studios Need to Show Up on Social Media (And How to Do It Right)

Can I be honest with you? I recently started attending a pilates studio and I am completely obsessed. The beige walls, the soft lighting, the calming atmosphere... it somehow makes you feel better before the class has even started. If your studio has that kind of energy, your social media should too.

Here's the thing though. So many beautiful, thriving pilates studios are completely underselling themselves online. The experience inside is incredible, but nobody on the outside knows that yet.

That's where social media comes in.

What should a pilates studio actually be posting?

You don't need to be posting every day or dancing on reels (unless you want to!). Here's what actually works:

Show the space: Your studio's atmosphere is part of the offering. Soft morning light through the window, neatly lined up mats, that calming colour palette. Let people feel it before they arrive.

Share the wins: A client who came in with back pain and now stands taller. Someone who finally feels strong in their body. Real results build real trust.

Educate gently: "What's the difference between mat and reformer pilates?" or "Is pilates good for beginners?" Your ideal client is already googling this stuff.

Be consistent: 3 times a week is plenty. Showing up regularly matters far more than posting perfectly.

Invite people in: A simple "DM us to book your first class" goes such a long way.

Your mats deserve to be full, and the right people are out there looking for exactly what you offer

If you're a pilates studio looking for a social media manager who actually gets your vibe, I'd love to chat.
