Feeling burnt out?

Why prioritising wellness changes everything.

Wellness isn’t just about green juices and 5am Pilates classes (unless you love that!) It’s really about prioritising yourself to show up as your best self. Let’s be honest- when life is busy, the first thing we tend to drop is… ourselves.

I see it all the time with my clients. They’re passionate and amazing at what they do- but they’re exhausted.

So lets bring it back to basics…

Why wellness matters:

  • You think more clearly when you’re well rested.

  • You feel more like yourself when your nervous system isn’t in overdrive.

  • You’re more present and patient- with yourself and others.

And life starts to feel a little less overwhelming- and a little more yours.

Lets talk about a few gentle shifts to bring you back to yourself.

It could be as simple as how you begin your mornings. Instead of rolling over to your iPhone alarm, invest in a sunrise alarm clock- my Lumie has been a lifesaver, especially in winter! Try taking 5 minutes to journal every morning before the outside world rushes in. If you’re like me and can’t get into journaling, try just taking 5 minutes to sit up and be in your own headspace- a moment that’s just yours!

Your environment plays a huge role in your mental state- even subtle shifts like letting in fresh air and cleaning an annoying surface off. Calm environment= calmer mental state.

Taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury, it’s part of a foundation that helps everything else work- and you deserve that.
